PPR’s UniverCité and Corporate Foundation unite for a solidarity project for the second time
“For executives, this entrepreneurial, solidarity adventure is an excellent development tool as well as an extraordinary opportunity to take a step back and look at the bigger picture”, explains Sophie WINDAK, Manager of PPR UniverCité.
This seminar marks the end of an 18-month training course for executives. It aims to implement all of the knowledge acquired during this development course and comes in addition to the grant allocated to the young fashion designer by the PPR Corporate Foundation for Women’s Dignity and Rights. Therefore, for 4 days Sakina M’SA opened up the doors of her store and workshops in full transparency to those involved. Together, they exchanged ambitions and the set-backs sometimes inherent in solidarity companies.
These executives were able to identify the promising elements of the brand during exchanges with customers, sponsors and Haute Couture professionals.
They were able to make a diagnosis, as well as economic, financial, managerial and commercial recommendations and proposals relevant to the short and long term which will help the Sakina M’SA brand to grow. They presented their suggestions in front of the entrepreneur, surrounded by a committee of experts, seeing to the successful development of the brand.
This project is above all a human adventure, rich in encounters and surprises. The participants embrace a new environment that is sometimes disconcerting, like this participant, the CEO of a subsidiary, highlights: “Surprising and unexpected, but particularly refreshing and enriching. Coming out of your comfort zone for three days, discovering social entrepreneurship, auditing and making recommendations in an “almost” unknown domain: it’s just great!”
According to the Director of the supply chain of one of the Group’s branches, this is “a human and professional experience that has managed to break away from the everyday environment”
“For executives, this entrepreneurial, solidarity adventure is an excellent development tool as well as an extraordinary opportunity to take a step back and look at the bigger picture. As well as the fruit that this encounter could bear, it has instigated much emotion and passion”, explains Sophie Windak, Manager of PPR UniverCité.
The result of this encounter already promises to see the emergence of several surprises on the market…
