Conforama is supporting the project of the Paris Samu Social (emergency services for the homeless) by getting involved in the furnishing and the decoration of the “Maison des Femmes” (Women’s Home). This shelter has been set up to help homeless women by offering them a living space which will allow them to rebuild their lives and permanently reintegrate into society.

The French leader in furniture and socially responsible company, Conforama is continually investing in solidarity projects which fall in line with its goals. It is therefore entirely natural that the Brand has donated all of the furniture necessary to construct a comfortable living setting for these wandering women.

This home, which was opened to women on December 10 and has been inaugurated today, is the product of team work within Conforama, and has mobilised various partners in construction, household equipment, hygiene and health.

“This type of action shows that at Conforama, social responsibility is not just talked about but it is translated into concrete actions, which mobilise the women and men of the company around a communal goal” explains Magali Stamegna, Manager of Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility.
