Alongside its international economic drive, the PPR Group also acts locally in close touch with the concerns of the areas in which it has business sites.
In 2001, PPR added a transversal body, the SolidarCité association, which involves brand and company employees for Entrepreneurship for Education and Inclusion. At the same time, the brands and companies have also been developing their own partnerships with local authorities on issues that are close to their business or values.
PPR’s commitment to social responsibility
Created in July 2001 by PPR Group, SolidarCité is an association that supports initiatives from its employees to foster solidarity and citizenship. It initiates actions for education and inclusion in partnership with the non-profit sector, local authorities, French National Education, etc.
Group’s branches commitment
Whether in cooperation with SolidarCité or on their own initiative, PPR’s companies and brands have instituted partnerships with local organisations, on societal themes and issues often of relevance to their own business areas.
