At the PPR head office, a working group comprising around twenty voluntary executives and employees representing various departments met on a quarterly basis in 2007 to consider the different ways of limiting the consumption of resources.

This work group provided practical responses in order to reduce the environmental impact of the PPR Group’s head office by initiating action plans promoting natural resource conservation or waste management.

In 2007, a certain number of measures were decided and/or set up at the Group’s head office:

• Launch of a poster campaign for eco-gestures;
• Screening of the Al Gore movie, An Inconvenient Truth;
• Setup of upstream selective waste sorting.

The launch of each initiative was accompanied by an appropriate communication strategy to encourage employee support.
